On the morning of January 7, a delegation from Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute , led by Lu Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Lu Haiping, Director of Education and Training, and Xu Chen, Director of the Education and Training Center, visited the School of Aerospace Engineering for an exchange symposium. The two sides held in-depth discussions on core topics including university-enterprise joint talent training and industry-university-research collaborative innovation, and planned for further cooperation. Liu Yilun, Vice Dean of the School ofAerospace Engineering, Li Yujing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Lei Jiang, Director of the Aerospace Engineering Department, and Jia Kun, Deputy Director of the Engineering Mechanics Department, warmly received the visiting experts and attended the discussion. The meeting was chaired by Li Yujing.

Lei Jiang gave a detailed introduction to the school’s development history, discipline construction, talent training model, research platforms and achievement transformation. Xu Chen presented an overview of Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute’s organizational structure, strategic planning, corporate culture and product development.

Liu Yilun noted that Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute is a core institution in China’s civil aircraft research and development with strong technical strength and abundant industrial resources. Meanwhile, the school has distinctive advantages in aerospace talent education and basic research. He stated that the two sides enjoy broad prospects for cooperation, and expected to take this exchange as an opportunity to build a long-term cooperation mechanism, realize resource sharing and complementary advantages.
