On January 21, a delegation from the School of Aerospace Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong University visited North Machinery Factory for a cooperation exchange. The two sides aimed to build a collaborative platform to deepen industry-university-research integration.

At the symposium, Mr. Wang Cunbao, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of the factory, introduced the enterprise’s development history and technical strengths. Professor Shen Shengping, Dean of the School of Aerospace Engineering, and Secretary Zhang Aiping discussed future cooperation in areas such as talent training, scientific research, key technology breakthroughs, and achievement transformation.

Following the meeting, the delegation toured the factory's production workshops and exhibition hall. They observed the equipment manufacturing process and learned about technical challenges in production as well as the application of the enterprise’s technological achievements.

This exchange helped establish a new pattern of university-enterprise cooperation featuring resource sharing and joint innovation. The School of Aerospace Engineering will leverage this opportunity to better align its disciplinary strengths with the industrial needs of the enterprise, further deepen industry-university-research collaboration, and contribute to national strategic requirements.
