The 1st Symposium on AI Applications in Integrated Flight Vehicle Mechanical Environments was successfully held on August 13–14, 2026, in Xi'an, hosted by the SCHOOL OF AEROSPACE ENGINEERING of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Organized by the Modal Analysis and Testing Committee of the Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering and the Shaanxi Society for Vibration Engineering, the symposium was co-hosted by Xi'an Jiaotong University, the State Key Laboratory for Strength and Vibration of Mechanical Structures under Complex Service Environments, the Shaanxi Key Laboratory of Advanced Flight Vehicle Integrated Service Environment and Control, and multiple supporting institutions. Over 60 experts, researchers, engineers, and enterprise representatives from universities, research institutes, and industries across China attended. The opening ceremony on August 14 featured a welcome address by Professor Liu Zhen and an opening speech by Vice Dean Liu Yilun.


The symposium featured 7 keynote presentations, over 10 academic reports across two parallel sub-forums, and a dedicated panel discussion on "AI Applications in Integrated Flight Vehicle Mechanical Environments." Expert discussions centered on intelligent modeling, dynamic parameter identification, virtual testing, and smart detection. Keynote speakers included Professor Yan Guirong (Xi'an Jiaotong University), Mr. Yu Jianjun (Co-founder and Co-CEO of Himalaya), Researcher Wang Jun (Xi'an Aerospace Propulsion Institute), Researcher Zhao Pengfei (CASIC Defense Technology Research and Test Center), and Mr. Han Feng (Suzhou Acoustics Industry Technology Research Institute). Their presentations covered: multi-agent systems in mechanical environment applications; AI industry development trends and strategic thinking; digital-intelligent empowerment of aerospace liquid propulsion mechanics testing technology; research progress and prospects on flight vehicle complex service environment effects testing; and industrial abnormal sound detection intelligent agents and multi-agent interaction technologies. Young scholars Dr. Zhou Jiaming (Ningxia University) and Dr. Guan Wei (Changzhou University) presented on data-driven impact load identification for mechanical structures and intelligent visual detection of drill bit wear, sharing research advances in load identification and condition monitoring.

Sub-forum sessions focused on AI theories and methods, dynamic parameter and load identification, with in-depth exchanges on PINNs (physics-informed neural networks), multi-agent reinforcement learning, dynamic system identification, multi-source load identification, and impact localization. The symposium provided a high-level interdisciplinary platform for exchanging cutting-edge theories, technical achievements, and engineering experiences, and advanced the integration of AI with aerospace engineering practices.
