On May 27, Wang Jian, Director of the Talent Department of the Talent Development Center of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC), led a delegation to visit the School of Aerospace Engineering. Both sides held a discussion on industry-education integration, joint university-enterprise talent training and high-level talent recruitment and cultivation.Attendees included Yu Wenshan, Assistant Dean of the School of Aerospace Engineering; Lei Jiang, Director of the Aerospace Engineering Department; Jia Kun, Deputy Director of the Engineering Mechanics Department; and Lu Tianshu, Party Committee Organization Officer.

Yu Wenshan warmly welcomed the guests and introduced the school’s development, disciplines and research achievements. He said the school serves national strategic needs to conquer core technologies, hoping to realize deep industry-education integration with CASIC. Wang Jian gave an overview of CASIC’s Talent Development Center. The two sides then exchanged views on joint training, curriculum design and research cooperation.

The talk strengthened university-enterprise cooperation and boosted industry-education integration. The school will rely on its disciplinary strengths to meet industrial demands and build a full-chain talent training system to support national development in education, science, technology and talent.
