The School of Aerospace Engineering’s International Industry-Education Integration Sci-Tech Camp (three sessions, July 6–September 5, 2025) concluded successfully. Sixty-three students from the UK, Italy, France and other countries joined, engaging in academic lectures, practical work, cultural activities and enterprise visits to explore aerospace knowledge, industry-education integration and traditional Chinese culture.
To build students’ expertise, the school held 9 aerospace-related lectures (covering solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, etc.). Students also participated in aircraft model assembly/testing and traditional folding fan making (guided by Teacher Huang Ying), and visited an aerospace museum and enterprises like Huazhong Numerical Control to learn about tech application.
The camp provided a platform for Sino-foreign academic exchange, boosted students’ skills, promoted educational-industrial resource connection, and laid groundwork for aerospace talent cultivation while enhancing Sino-foreign cultural and educational exchanges.
