The team led by Professor Xu Minglong from Xi'an Jiaotong University has proposed a design and development method for ultra-high equivalent piezoelectric effect films based on flexible electret materials.They fabricated a sandwich-type composite film, whose equivalent piezoelectric coefficient reaches 1.5×10⁴pC/N, over 700 times that of commercial PVDF materials. With good mechanical stability and high-temperature adaptability, it can be used for large deformation measurement, etc. The achievement was published in Science Advances.
